Automation Engineer(Smart Logistics Facility)

About the Role:
We are seeking a technically strong and experienced Automation Engineer to join our smart logistics facility located at Mapletree Tsing Yi Logistics Centre. This 20,000 sq.ft. vertical automated warehouse is powered by intelligent algorithms that dispatch goods based on store-level demand and optimal consumption dates. The engineer will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and upgrading the automated systems that enable full-cycle intelligent dispatch operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in building and managing automated warehouse systems, and who are passionate about integrating engineering principles with real-time logistics operations.

Main Duties:
  • Lead the scale-up and optimization of automated warehouse systems, including stacker cranes, AGVs, and conveyor lines
  • Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades to ensure operational reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex faults in logistics automation systems and provide technical support
  • Independently manage automation improvement projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation
  • Analyze system performance and dispatch logic to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
  • Support the implementation and refinement of dispatch algorithms based on product freshness and store demand
  • Coordinate technical requirements and execution details with internal teams and external vendors
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, issue logs, and project reports
Requirements:
  • Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation equipment maintenance and system integration, preferably in smart warehouse or logistics environments
  • Proven track record in building and optimizing automated warehouse systems
  • Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, WCS, and integration with WMS systems
  • Familiarity with sensor systems, servo drives, and electromechanical integration
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-intensity environments
  • Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin; basic English communication
Work Schedule & Benefits:

主要職責：
• 主導自動化倉庫系統（包括堆垛機、AGV、自動輸送線）的擴展與優化
• 定期進行設備檢查、預防性保養及系統升級，確保運作穩定
• 排查並解決物流自動化系統中的複雜故障，提供技術支援
• 獨立管理自動化改善項目，包括規劃、執行及成效評估
• 分析系統效能及派貨邏輯，識別瓶頸並提出改善方案
• 協助實施及優化派貨算法，根據產品新鮮度及分店需求進行優先排序
• 與內部團隊及外部供應商協調技術需求及執行細節
• 撰寫及維護技術文件、問題記錄及項目報告
職位要求：
• 持有電機工程、自動化、機電一體化或相關學科之大專或以上學歷
• 具備至少5年自動化設備維護及系統整合經驗，曾於智能倉庫或物流環境工作者優先
• 具備自動化倉庫系統建設與優化的實務經驗
• 熟悉 PLC、SCADA、WCS 及其與 WMS 系統的整合
• 熟悉感測器、伺服驅動器及機電整合技術
• 具備良好的跨部門溝通與協作能力
• 能適應高強度工作環境，具備抗壓能力
• 能以廣東話及／或普通話溝通，具基本英文能力
工作時間與福利：
• 每月8天休息日（包括法定假期）
• 穩定工作時間：08:30 – 17:30
